This is all Ed's idea

Welcome Tocci family! Whether you were raised a Barisano or a Grant or if your name is now Billings or Baker you were directed to this site because you are all Toccis. You can trace your roots back through your parents, grandparents and, in some cases, great grandparents and arrive at Michael and Mary Tocci who settled in Needham, Massachusetts.


This is the official Tocci Family Blog. Why is it 'official'? Because, well, I'm a Tocci and I say so. That's always been good enough reason for anything in this family, right? ;)


Blogs have become commonplace these days so there is no reason why our family shouldn't have one, too. If this is your first experience with a blog, here's a little run down. Blogs were first known as 'web logs' - a kind of online diary, if you will. Today businesses and individuals alike all use blogs. They have become quite a marketing tool for some companies, too.


But, as you may guess, this site isn't for any profit or gain. This is simply a place to catch up with each other quickly and easily. It's a place to post news, a great recipe or talk about some family memories that you'd like to share with the rest of us.


How does it work? Well, right now I'm set up as the moderator, but that doesn't mean I'm the only one that can post. Since this was Ed's idea, he will be getting an invitation to join as a contributor, too. Anyone else that would like to contribute (wouldn't it be nice to have someone from each of the 7 families represented....), please let me know. You can do that one of two ways - you can email me at tidbitsandmore@gmail.com or you can leave a comment with your email address. Posting is SO easy. I'm technology challenged and even I can do it!


Comments are easy to do and you should leave them often - that's how this will work the best. If you laughed at a memory that was here - tell us! Did you laugh as hard as I did at Ed's entry into the cookbook about Uncle Pat's chicken? Tell us! Want to know something about the family? Ask! Have a suggestion? Tell us. It's so easy. See the word 'comment' at the bottom of this post? Click on it. Then leave your message. It's easy. Anyone can leave a comment - you don't have to be a blogger either.
