Blast from Summers Past

As I was strolling down the candy aisle at the store today, longingly looking at all the things I can't have, something popped out at me - Brach's Circus Peanuts. I haven't seen them in years and had even forgotten all about them. They certainly bring back memories of Parkwood Beach summers.
My grandmother always had these candies at the house. Sometimes it was the only candy she had for us. They aren't my favorite at all, but when you are a kid and there is candy, you just eat it, right? They are soft, orange-flavored candies that leave your teeth feeling like they are coated in sugar. What every kid loves!
No, I didn't pick any up today but I do have fond memories of working my way through quite a few of those on some summer visits to Parkwood Beach. Because, after all, you can't have just one.....

Yuck! What a horrible candy, but it does bring back those fond memories though. Come on...Not even 1 bag for old times sake?
Donna,
You actually got candy at your grandmother's house???? These candies have been around forever, and if I remember my last encounter with them, it's pretty obvious all these candies were made in the 1950's and there still using up the supply, just new packaging!
