JULY 7th UPDATE

Hi everyone:

If you haven't seen all the reunion details scroll to the next post - all that we know now is right there. But, we still need your input! From the counter I have on the site, I can tell you all have been looking and reading the details, but we still need to hear from you.

We need to know who is coming - it might seem like a long way off but plans need to be made now for some things that we'll need a head count for.

From the folks we've heard from on the blog and via email, I think the general thought is that we want Tocci food. The cooks in this family can not be surpassed by any caterer. Seriously. So, Glenn is doing a great job looking for a team of folks that we can hire to 'work the kitchen' for the event. He has a couple of people that he's worked with in the past that he's been in touch with. He'll give us an update soon. We'll have to pay for them, obviously, but the cost of the reunion is way down this year so none of us will need to pay that much. We'll have a better idea as we get closer to the event.

The fun of the reunion isn't just the food - it's catching up with people that you haven't seen in years, right? Well, I have a couple of updates for you all now because I've got some emails from folks this week, which I love getting.

Congratulations to Michael and Marcia's daughter, Janna. She's about to become a mom! Making Michael and Marcia grandparents, Pam a great aunt and Paul a great uncle. Wow. Best wishes to all!

Nathan (Glenn and Celeste's son) won't be at the reunion, unfortunately. The world traveler is headed out that morning to Costa Rica. Nice.

Brian McGowan (Lillian and Leo's son) checked in from San Francisco. He missed the last reunion because he was headed back later that summer for his parent's 50th wedding anniversary, but he's going to try to make this reunion! We'll keep our fingers crossed, Brian. It would be good to see you.
