Serving Sizes are a Scam!
So, I'm sitting here munching on some Nature's Blend Cajun Crunch snack. If you like spicy things, you'll love this. Hot Cajun corn sticks, cajun peanuts, pretzels, sesame sticks & almonds. Yummy. It's a 14 oz. bag so it's much smaller than a regular size bag of potato chips, let's say.
I had some Saturday while I was reading a book and I'm having some now. I would say that there is one more of my servings left. So, three servings. Fine.
I turn over the bag to see how many calories - 160 per serving. Ok, I can deal with that. And then I look at what their serving size is -- 1/3 of a cup. Do you know how many servings per container....you're all going to love this. THIRTEEN - that's 13! Are they high? What person out there in the world only eats 1/3 of a cup of a salty snack?
Serving sizes are a scam! I think I'm going to boycott them from now on.
I knew you'd all understand and, maybe even appreciate, this little rant....

Just a little hint... Maybe take the time to read serving sizes on packages "before" you buy. It's kind of late when there is only a handful left! They sound great though. Will you buy more?
No more. They are too yummy and I eat too many.
What is the fun of looking at the serving size before you buy an item? You'd never buy anything if you did that!
I am a portion abuser.
Do what I do, DON'T LOOK ON THE BACK!
Wayne - you give better advice than your brother. :)
Well Glenn, I still have a Mary-Jane stuck in mine and that's from the candy store in Wareham!
