Another... Tocci Engagement!

Congratulations to Kimberly Tocci, (Ronald and Janes daughter) on her recent Engagement to John. She and John announced their exciting news a few months ago and now plans for a May wedding are being made for next year in Florida, where they currently reside.

This past weekend Kim and John flew in to spend a little time with Ronald. He decided he would have a small gathering for them at his house on Saturday evening. There were about 40 of us who had the chance to see Kim and meet John. The evening was so incredible. Ronalds friend Mike is a D.J. and he set up all his equipment around the pool, including extreme lighting which flashed with every beat of the music. He played everyone's favorite tunes all evening, and people were dancing up a storm at pool side!

Sharon and Cheryl made their famous home made lasagna. People were fighting for a place in line to be served first. The aroma of melted cheese and sauce filled the air. I understand that one tray never even made it out to the party. While waiting for the lasagna's to finish baking in the oven, marinated slow cooked chicken wings and a bowl of iced shrimp cocktail graced the big buffet table for our pleasure. Renee, Ronalds other beautiful daughter whipped up a batch of her delectable grilled chicken, rigatoni and broccoli drizzled with a buttery but light cream sauce. Wow! Of course Nadine made her tossed baby greens salad with walnuts and cranberries. Her home made balsamic vinaigrette dressing was the perfect choice to top this incredible bowl of heaven. The dessert table was lined with home made cookies and pastries of every shape, color and design.

Although most of the guests were friends of Kims or Ronnies, a few Tocci's were present. Ed & Rose, Danny, Cheryl, Jimmy and Michael, Sharon, Fred and Bryan, David and Nancy, Pam, Kim and Todd and Nadine and me. Others were supose to attend but couldn't make it because of previous plans.

Of course there was plenty of booze for all. Thanks for a great party Ronald and most of all...

Best wishes to Kim and John!
