MS Walk Report

Yesterday I participated in the annual MS Challenge Walk. There are at least a dozen of these across the state over two different weekends. I participated in the Hyannis one for the second time with a friend who has MS and for Ed and another friend who also deals with this disease. Thanks to some of my very generous family members I raised $350.

I walked the 6.2 miles with my friend and some of her family (including 3 dogs). It turned out to be a nice day and we let the little dogs run on Craigville beach before putting them back in their carrier and continuing on. Although we saw the pizza place that Kathy has told me about just past the beach, we continued on and finished the walk in just over 2 hours. We were cruisin'!

All together there were 92 people at that location that participated. Together we raised $25,000 for the fight against MS. Wooo-hoooo!
